Furthermore, patients from Tunisia and Israel had a younger age of onset compared to those from the United States, even when accounting for shared ancestry. This suggests that both genetic background and environmental or lifestyle factors specific to a region play a crucial role in determining when this specific form of Parkinson’s disease begins.
